Philodendron Lemon Leaves
Lemon Lime Leaf
when I first met the lemon-lime philodendron then I thought it would have to be in my greenery indoors. The lemon Lime Philodendron is a beautiful heart-shaped leaf plant that has a lemon-greenery colour which will brighten up any space. in the middle portion of the leaves are bright lemon colour. In deep sunlight, new stems and leaves become shades of pink and orange. It looks amazing!
if we love lemon-lime philodendron then to propagate we can take some cuttings portions of philodendron stem during warmer or summer time and place them in a water jar or moist soil. we should make sure that at least one or two node points of attachment of the leaf have to be submerged under the water, from which the roots will grow and they should be transferred a potting soil quite easily. now we can decorate our indoors as my wish.
when I see that a soft lemon leaf, turns into yellow leaves it indicates overwatering or while shows crispy-brown leaves the plant needs more water. It’s an incredibly natural beauty and is a great first-time houseplant or gift for anyone who wants to enjoy the natural beauty of plants without a lot of maintenance.
Since it’s in the Araceae family, it has calcium oxalate crystals in every part of the plant, even the sap.
Even though it usually won’t kill you, it’s best to be ready in case you get exposed to it or eat it.
Philodendron lemon lime is a tropical plant that likes to be irrigated. Overwatering, on the other hand, is a major concern with philodendrons, since many individuals are unaware that wet soil and damp soil are not the same thing.
They like the soil to be relatively dry before the next watering. That usually takes about 2 weeks in an average home environment. It will vary depending on the time of year, your environment, and lighting conditions, but for them, it’s always safer to underwater or water when you see signs of lack of water ( droopy, floppy, or soft leaves).
